Privacy Policy

Altamar Labs LLC, which runs Veiloria, is responsible for the personal information described here. For anything about your privacy, write to privacy@veiloria.app: a person reads every message.

When you visit our website: your currency, language and saved designs are kept in your own browser. Our servers record technical information such as your IP address and browser for security and to keep the site running. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics measures how pages are used (see our Cookie Policy). On the order page we also count how far each visit gets (for example, whether it reached payment) to see where ordering could be clearer: anonymously, without cookies, and with nothing stored in your browser.

When you order: your names, email, the plan, design and extras you choose, your wedding details and the materials you send us (texts, photos, music, a printed invitation to recreate), and your order’s payment status. Your card details are entered on our payment provider’s page and never reach us.

Gift cards: the buyer’s email, the names of the giver and the couple, and the message written on the card.

Newsletter: your email, language and when you confirmed your subscription.

Reviews: your names, email, rating and review; only your names, rating, review and its date are published.

When you contact us by email or WhatsApp: your messages and contact details.

When guests reply to an invitation: their name and email, whether they attend, the names of the people coming with them, dietary needs, whether children attend, a song request and a note for the couple, as the couple’s RSVP asks.

Dietary notes can reveal information about health or beliefs. We collect them only so the couple can tell their caterer, guests choose what to write, and we use them for nothing else.

• ✦To provide what you ordered (our contract with you): designing and hosting your invitation, your portal, gift cards, emails about your order and support.
• ✦With your consent: the newsletter and analytics. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• ✦For our legitimate interests: keeping Veiloria secure, preventing fraud and misuse of codes, fixing errors and improving our service.
• ✦To meet legal obligations: keeping accounting and payment records.

We don’t sell personal information, don’t use it for advertising and don’t make automated decisions about you.

Guests’ replies are collected for the couple who invited them: the couple decides what the RSVP asks and sees every answer in their private portal. We look after these replies on the couple’s behalf and use them for nothing else. Guests who want to change or remove a reply can ask the couple, or write to us directly.

We share information only with providers who help us run Veiloria, under contracts that require them to protect it, and only as much as each one needs:

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients and guests.

Some of our providers store information outside your country, including in the United States. Where the law requires it, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

• ✦Invitations, guest replies and files you sent: until twelve months after the wedding date, then deleted. A couple can ask us to delete them sooner.
• ✦Orders and payment records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
• ✦Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
• ✦Reviews: while published, or until you ask us to remove yours.
• ✦An unfinished checkout: only in your own browser, for up to 14 days.
• ✦Security logs: a few weeks.

Every connection is encrypted. Our database is reachable only by our own servers; portals, previews and files open only with private signed links; and we give each provider the least access it needs. No system is perfectly secure, but we take every reasonable care and will tell you promptly if something affects your information.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy in a portable format, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to privacy@veiloria.app; we answer within 30 days and may ask you to confirm who you are.

If you are unhappy with our answer, you can complain to your data protection authority, such as your local authority in the European Union or the ICO in the United Kingdom.

Veiloria is for adults planning their wedding and is not directed at children under 16. A guest may tell the couple that children will attend, but we do not ask for children’s details.

We will post any update here with its new date, and tell you by email if a change affects how we use information you have already given us.
